disclaimer statement

I've been contemplating the whole blogging thing for a couple of weeks. Don't get too excited. I am notorious for not following up on things, and this is probably no different. I can't even respond to emails in a timely fashion. In fact, I remembered on the way to work this morning that a friend of mine in Illinois had sent her congratulations on my engagement and I never acknowledged it. It's on my list of emails to return. That was four weeks ago.

That said, we will see how diligent I am with this. Don't get too excited.

There will be no rhyme or reason to postings. Expect rants and raves. And updates on my life, which at the moment consists of wedding planning, house shopping, work, and sleep. There will also be opinions on geeky things like words, books, and punctuation.

Do not expect grand insight into politics or the upcoming election. Not my cup of tea. There are other things I likely won't write about, mostly because I know nothing about them or don't really give a crap. I choose not to list these things-- they make me feel bad about myself.

Please share your thoughts and opinions but don't expect a timely reply. Not from me anyway (see above). Plus, I'm not sure who "you" will be. That's what I find intriguing. Who wants to know about life and mind according to e?

There it is- the disclaimer statement, which can and will be edited at any time. Enjoy.
